BASIC: Which movie villain would you love your brand to be worn by?

GUDU: Since childhood, I adored Cruella De Ville from the movie 101 Dalmatians. It seems to me that the style of the GUDU, with an emphasis on strong tailoring and pure colors, would have been liked by her. I would save her love of fur, but offer faux fur. Also, I would add red accents to her black and white palette.

BASIC: If your designs were a music genre, what would it be?

GUDU: Our ideal heroine is described as a blue-blooded punk because in spite of her character, she adores daring and racy things, with more leather and black. I would call the style of music “when insolence meets aristocracy”.

BASIC: What message would you like to share with the world about your brand?

The core mission of GUDU is female empowerment through virtuous tailoring. The brand’s fundamental concept is to place a woman on the center of the stage, lending her a distinctive right to feel worthy of applause for simply being herself. GUDU designs adorn the female body through dramatic, sensual silhouettes and masterpiece tailoring with total showstopper aesthetics. Each piece is a sculptural embellishment, engineered with uncompromising quality. The GUDU muse is a rebellious and acentric character—irresistible in her allure.
