Spanish designer Juana Martín presents her latest project, “Sal Negra”—a collection that exhibits a powerful visual impact with pieces closely linked to nature and designs that are characterized by volume, structure, and the dichotomy between black and white and light and dark. Volume and exaggerated structures invade the garments—especially on the sleeves—while the combination of straight lines and curved formats create organic shapes and stunning silhouettes. From embroidered satins and structured organza with whalebones to pleats, silk chiffons, and sophisticated crystal mesh, Martín creates formations that represent personal reflection and the rebirth of a new stage after a turbulent year.
