ANTRA: Architecture Worn Close

For Jessica Wahab, jewelry is a way of preserving the places and people that shape us. Through ANTRA, the Lebanese fine jewelry brand she founded, Wahab translates the architectural details of her homeland into contemporary pieces rooted in family heritage and craftsmanship. Inspired by her father’s artistry and her mother’s strength and work ethic, the brand brings together two deeply personal influences, transforming memory into something tangible.

Lebanon’s distinctive doors, arches, and façades form the foundation of ANTRA’s design language. These familiar architectural elements are reduced to delicate lines and geometric structures, creating jewelry that balances precision with softness. In the Door 1 Collection, the made-to-order Façades ring captures the rhythm of Lebanese architecture in 18K gold, finished with a fine line of diamonds. Elsewhere, the Mismatched necklace introduces asymmetry through a yellow sapphire and marquise ruby, bringing an unexpected sense of movement to an otherwise structured form.

The exploration continues with Door 2, where turquoise enamel, delicate charms, and playful proportions offer a lighter interpretation of the same architectural references. Pendants, bracelets, and earrings reinterpret traditional forms without losing their connection to the original inspiration. Some pieces embrace asymmetry, while others introduce color and subtle romantic details, demonstrating how a single visual language can evolve across different expressions.

At its heart, ANTRA is a dialogue between generations. Wahab takes the craftsmanship and architectural heritage of her father’s world and gives them a new place within contemporary design. The result is jewelry that moves beyond decoration, carrying fragments of Lebanon’s visual identity into everyday life. Each piece becomes a small architectural keepsake, preserving the past while allowing it to take on a new form.
