Based in Costa Brava, Spain, SA·LT atelier looks to the ocean for both material and instinct. The small jewelry atelier creates handcrafted pieces from natural Abalone and Paua shells, Keshi and freshwater pearls, baroque pearls, sea glass, and other organic materials, allowing their irregularities to become an essential part of the design.

Rather than searching for uniformity, SA·LT embraces what nature leaves unpredictable. Variations in shape, color, texture, and surface guide each composition, resulting in jewelry that feels distinctly individual. Pearls traditionally associated with restraint and classicism are pushed into something more expressive, sculptural, and unexpected.

That approach extends into a deliberately maximalist visual language. Shells and pearls gather into bold compositions that blur the boundary between adornment and art, with each piece requiring hours of detailed handwork. The natural materials remain recognizable, but their arrangement gives them an entirely different presence.

For SA·LT atelier, the ocean is less a motif than a collaborator. Its imperfections provide the starting point, while craftsmanship transforms them into objects that challenge expectations of what pearl jewelry should look like—organic, unapologetic, and made to stand apart.
