What drives your creative mind?
Our customers give us a lot of ideas for our costumes, and we simply refine and bring them to life. When it comes to our collections, we gather various ideas on one big online board and then discuss them together with departments such as development, marketing, and designers.

How do you see your designs influencing individuals and trends in society?
Our ideas definitely catch the eye. Sometimes they are strange and unlike the designs people would typically see in everyday life, but that’s what art is, isn’t it?

How do you identify the balance between pursuing your personal artistic vision and catering to the preferences of the audience or market?
Our audience fully supports all of our crazy concepts, and we always see a response to them. However, our standard costumes, which were popular a couple of years ago, are no longer as interesting to the audience. So, we strive to always come up with something new to keep the viewers from getting bored. Additionally, our clients are performers. They are always people who want to stand out and have unique outfits for their performances. Therefore, anything new and unconventional is quickly picked up. Everyone always wants to be the first, and we gladly assist them in that.

Can you share some challenges you face in translating your thoughts into design?
Often, our creations require meticulous development since there may be no analogs in the world. And sometimes, it is the development and testing that take a lot of time, which is why the launch of a new product can take several months.

Can you illustrate your design process using five random non-fashion related words?
Idea, discussion, development, sleepless nights, and kittens. Cats are the totem animals of our team, so we couldn’t leave them out of this list.

If your latest collection was a ‘Tweet’, what would that ‘Tweet’ say?
“Thanks to beetles for inspiration.” Our latest collection is made out of glittering mirrors in colors resembling those of a spring dumbledor beetle that ranges from purplish-blue to green.

If you had to design an outfit inspired by a specific sound or noise, what would that be?
It would probably be the sound of ocean waves. It embodies beauty and power. That would definitely be something beautiful. Thank you for the idea.

If you were to design an outfit for an extraterrestrial, what would it look like?
It could be a mirror costume with continents depicted like on a glob. It would feature different colors—seas represented in a blue color and LED lights placed here and there to showcase the Northern Lights
