Meet the Girl Boss photographer that works at Apple.
Words by Rabia Khan[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]We are all about women in positions of leadership, and Amara Abbas is helping pave the way. Abbas’ influences in her fresh, innovative and modern aesthetic stem from her Chicago roots. If you have not heard of her, you’re most likely already a fan of her work. She developed the idea for the Apple Apocalypse ad (relive it here) and works as a part of the iPhone advertising team. In her free time, this creativity expands into photography. Abbas recently completed a lookbook for Aritzia and collaborates with up-and-coming designers such as LA based Local Brown Baby. A glance through her portraits will quickly show you that she captures the edgy and raw magnitude of her subjects, while never failing to highlight their clothing. Most importantly, Abbas prioritizes the great importance to produce art that includes people of all races and backgrounds.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=”8852″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”8851″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”8855″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
