IF FASHION DISAPPEARED
“I would continue researching historical fashion and traditional dress from cultures around the world. Fashion is simply the medium I use to tell stories. I would keep creating worlds, objects, and visual narratives inspired by history because that is how I express my identity.”
THE REBELLION
“We’re rejecting the idea that there’s only one way to be creative. Young designers are exploring new materials, technologies, craftsmanship, and artistic influences without being afraid to experiment. Fashion should encourage individuality rather than push everyone toward the same trends.”
THE MUSE
A noblewoman in 19th-century Japan or Victorian England: an unforgettable woman whose appearance quietly challenges the expectations of her era. For Ngoc, the fantasy becomes a conversation between histories, imagining how seemingly distant cultures can coexist within a single visual language.

THE CASTLE
“A magnificent castle where every room hides a forgotten memory. Beautiful, mysterious, quiet, and filled with stories waiting to be discovered.”
OPENING SCENE
An abandoned museum where time has stopped. A young woman lies among fragments of kimono, corsets, lace, and floating fabric. She awakens from a recurring dream of a faceless woman dressed in a kimono layered over a Victorian corset and follows her into a world where Meiji Japan and Victorian England become one.

WHAT COMES NEXT
“People will eventually grow tired of trends made only for social media. Fashion should have meaning beyond going viral.” Ngoc instead looks toward cultural hybridity, reinterpreting historical garments and allowing different traditions to encounter one another through a contemporary lens.
