Spanish designer Beatriz Peñalver uses texture and pattern mixing to create fashionable, modern designs. The looks are youthful and bright, surely a reflection of the young and eager designer. Futuristic design elements are reminiscent of how the 21st century might have been imagined in the 1970s and 80s. In her current collection, polka dots, holographic belts and sheer fabrics show inspiration from several decades past combined to make something completely new. Flower appliques make a few small appearances, as do geometric patterns, but overall the collection is feminine, sharp and focused.
