Half a fool
What’s in our glasses
more the matters, [whether]
not half full nor half empty.
If to sate ourselves were plenty
[as] To be half a fool is enough
to know you don’t know so much.

of a page, smushed when closed the book.
Scramble back when opened up,
across the webs of alphabets.
Little buddhas[/bodhisattvas] of patience
straddling sense and nonsense.

up in the lesser air,
and catches again upon descent
at the instant needed for emphasis.
