PABLO SINAN AKGÜL: OBJECTS IN MOTION

Lumix Lamp

Pablo Sinan Akgül is a furniture and product designer whose work is shaped by a life lived between cultures. Raised between Istanbul and Madrid, Akgül approaches design through observation and curiosity—allowing material, form, and function to emerge organically rather than conform to expectation.

His practice favors sculptural lamps, metal-framed seating, and modular spatial systems defined by clarity, rhythm, and a subtle sense of motion. There is an attentiveness in his work that elevates the everyday; ordinary materials are reconsidered through detail, proportion, and quiet experimentation.

Storytelling sits at the core of Akgül’s process. Each piece is given its own identity through a careful selection of materials and an exploration of new methods of making. Mixed-matter lighting, open-air silhouettes, and angled shelving recur throughout his catalog, built through repetition and contrast—structures that feel both disciplined and inquisitive.

Educated in Product Design at IED Madrid, Akgül began his professional path in furniture design, collaborating with the Italian brand True Design and working across design and architecture studios throughout Spain. He later completed a master’s degree in Luxury Design at the Creative Academy of the Richemont Group in Milan. Now based in Paris, he continues to refine his practice as a product designer within the high-luxury sector—bringing a global sensibility and restrained elegance to contemporary design.
