A’ Design Award & Competition is one of the world’s leading international annual juried design competitions, recognizing outstanding work across a wide range of creative disciplines. Entries from designers around the world are anonymously peer-reviewed by an influential jury of academics, press members, and established industry professionals, with winning projects selected for their innovation, creativity, functionality, and design excellence. Awarded designers receive the comprehensive “A’ Design Prize,” which includes international recognition, exhibition opportunities, inclusion in the annual yearbook, a 3D-printed metal trophy, an invitation to the gala night in Italy, extensive press and promotional support, translation into more than 108 languages, inclusion in the World Design Rankings, and the right to use the A’ Design Award Winner Logo.

At its core, A’ Design Award & Competition aims to promote good design while encouraging designers, companies, and brands to create products and projects that positively impact society. With a philanthropic mission to advance design, science, creativity, and technology, the competition creates incentives for innovators to push boundaries and develop original, effective solutions across industries. Each year, projects demonstrating excellence in innovation, technology, design, and creativity are invited to compete, with entries accepted through February 28 and results announced annually on May 1. Designers worldwide may submit eligible works, projects, and products created within the past 10 years.
